She’s back on her mission.

Since I came back from China a bittersweet taste came to my mouth. I wanted so bad to be over there doing the Father’s work but, I didn’t go back. I still haven’t. I am at this moment right with God and I have peace about the whole thing. The last two and a half years I haven’t. I got sad and angry with God. I wanted to know why He would put such a desire in my heart to do something so great and so amazing and then not open a door for me to walk through and do something I felt so strongly about.

At this point at 5:56pm on Monday September 29, 2014 I know that calling is only a small part of what he called me to do. I had to figure out that God doesn’t just call you to one place sometimes he calls you to do life a life after him and after his people. That means that where ever you are that is where God is using you. You just have to have you heart and your hands wide open and let him move in and through you. This takes courage and strength but I know that he is watching over me and he is directed me even though it may be a scary thing to do.

God works in mysterious ways. He uses people from your past and present and makes them apart of your future. Its hard to let someone back in your life who hurt you or made you angry or sad. But think about it this way: God’s love is so deep, we left him and he still after years has his arms wide open waiting for us at the end of the driveway. He waits for to see our face. He knows we caused him pain and sadness but he still has his hands wide open ready to embrace us with his love. THAT is how we should be with people who have hurt us in the past. When they have ran away, just be there waiting with arms wide open with love. To be able to do that you have to forgive them and forgive yourself. To forgive is to forget.

Life will get interesting once you give it all to him. He will take you places you never thought you would go.

This past weekend I went to Asheville, NC. I went with someone who is very special to me. We just went on a mini vacation to see some of his family’s land. On Saturday night we looked for a church to attend in the morning, we knew that we need to worship and hear the word. So we went to a small church in downtown that had just lost their pastor. The service was interesting to say the least. But during the service I heard God say that we were supposed to take the pastor and his wife out. So we did. We talked kingdom living and how he is going to change the way the church we attended. He wants to build community and build relationship then have a Sunday morning service. We had a great time with them. It was what was exactly what we needed to hear and have. That being said I’m not the one who is just on this mission. This will still be my personal blog but, I believe these stories that are shared are going to be about what God is doing in our life.

we are on a journey
